China Buffet

Very good family owned buffet. The family is always very gracious and kind when our family comes to eat. They bring out fresh food everytime we walk in and always chat with my wife and two girls. We've been coming to this buffet for 8 years and it's our favorite place to go. Never disappointed keep up the good work!

Always good food. It's nice that they change a few items so you can try something different. The other Chinese restaurants always have the same thing.

Good atmosphere

The China Buffet is a surprisingly cheap buffet with amazing food. It has a large selection of food and a fairly attentive staff who are fairly snappy with clean up. Their food is delicious and along with a large variety, with it being a buffet you can eat as much as you like. Its actually incrediy surprising how cheap the buffet is conpared to the quality of food and service provided.

Food good and standard chinese buffet. However, hostess was clipping fingernails while I was eating which was gross.

It was busy so the buffet was fresh and it was a friday night so it had lots of shrimp dishes . If it's slow the buffet can be a little over cooked and dried out.

Nice variety of different dishes. Liked that there was 3 soups to chose from. Crawfish was offered and to our surprise it was seasoned nicely. Dishes did not have heavy sauces like you find at alot of buffets. And you could also find the meat/seafood in the dish without having it be 3/4 vegetables. Would have given 5 stars except dishes could have been a bit warmer.

Every time I ask my kids what they want to eat, this is the place we end up! It's ok because it's my favorite too!!

With my two experiences here so far, I must have to agree with all the 5 star reviewers and disagree with the 1 stars. Food was awesome and the price was great!

Very good food and friendly atmosphere. The vegetables are really good

The food is buffet style and they do check the food. Yet, sometimes the food can be dry. For the price can't really complain. The people are nice and if you go there enough they will know what you want for a drink. They will also know what you like for service. If you are looking for main stream dining this is not your place. If you are looking for a place with decent food to feed your body at a cheap price you have found your restaurant.

Never gourmet quality, but almost always good food. Squid spirals needed cooked longer, otherwise everything was great.

Parking can be a pain sometimes but Never a wait. Good buffet at fair prices. Love their crab rangoon ! Of the surrounding Chinese establishments I like this place the best.

Best food around

Gotta go during the beginning of lunch or dinner hours otherwise food wont be as fresh especially if not real busy.

Good comfort food.

This is my favorite restaurant in Alma. The food is always wonderful, the water tastes great, and the waitress is always friendly, polite, and stops by often (but not too often) while we eat to clear away plates or offer refills for our drinks. There is fresh fruit as well as the main dishes, plus soups, sauces, and desserts. I also have to add that the tables are beautiful.

A fat kids paradise! Lunch is always great, but dinner is better with a couple more selections of deliciousness. I reccomend their bourbon chicken!
